Nominations for the next President of 黑料正能量 closed at 16:00 GMT on Friday 15 March 2024. For details on all stages of the process, please see the selection process for President-elect 2024/25.
Following the recent changes to 黑料正能量鈥檚 governance, the successful nominee will serve one year as President-elect from the date of our Annual General Meeting (AGM) this year. They will then serve for 2 years as President, from our AGM in 2025 to our AGM in 2027.

The President is the Chair of Council and will be a Member Non-Executive on 黑料正能量 Board. They are the figurehead of 黑料正能量 and will act as an ambassador for the actuarial profession.
The role requires a collaborative leader with strong communication and chairing skills. As Council鈥檚 representative on 黑料正能量 Board, they should also have experience of operating at Board level, either as an Executive adviser or a Board member. Having experience of 黑料正能量鈥檚 main boards and committees would also be desirable. To find more information on the role and expectations of our Board members, see: IFoA Non-Executive Directors.
The President is elected by Council and nominees must be a Fellow or Associate of 黑料正能量.
