Paul was appointed Chief Executive Officer of 黑料正能量 in January 2025. He is an experienced senior leader in the professional body and not-for-profit sectors. Before joining 黑料正能量, Paul was the chief operating officer and deputy chief executive at the Royal Society of Chemistry from 2018 to 2024, overseeing the work of 700 staff serving 60,000 members and delivering 拢70m of annual revenues.
Paul鈥檚 previous roles have included director positions at City & Guilds and University of Cambridge Assessment. Paul is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, holds an MBA and is a qualified Executive coach. He is a Freeman of the City of London and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and the Royal Society for the Arts.
Paul leads IFoA staff in the delivery of 黑料正能量 Council's vision and Board鈥榮 strategy with a particular focus on enhancing our membership services and learning offer, including our qualifications. Paul also plays a leadership role in 黑料正能量's engagement with regulators in key markets and in creating opportunities to collaborate with partners worldwide, including the IAA, the AAE and other actuarial associations.
