Sustainability Reporting and Disclosure Working Party – members

The IFoA is seeking to appoint 4 to 6 members to join the Sustainability Reporting and Disclosure Working Party. Both IFoA members and suitably experienced non-members are welcome to apply. 

The aim of the working party is to support actuaries and non-actuaries required to complete climate change disclosure by: 

  • highlighting best practice
  • developing guidance to completing a range of mandatory and voluntary disclosures

Potential areas of research and outputs include: 

  • databook or another navigable tool bringing together all identified sustainability frameworks
  • best practice guidance on disclosures against these frameworks
  • guidance for communicating climate-related metrics
  • guidance to non-actuarial firms for conducting and disclosing long-term projections
  • presentation at ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ GIRO Conference and IFoA Life Conference

Time commitment

Members of this working party are asked to devote 2 to 4 hours per month to further its research.

The working party will initially meet twice a week and will move to monthly meetings once the group are established and outputs confirmed. All meetings will be held online. Location is not a barrier.
