The ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿â€™ (IFoA’s) Finance and Investment Board is seeking to appoint new members to broaden the collective experience of the board.
The board acts as a source of expertise within the profession on matters relating to the finance and investment practice area. It has a key role in promoting, supporting and championing the interests of practice area members.
We encourage candidates directly involved in investments for pension funds or insurance companies. We are also keen that members from the banking industry (investment and retail) and Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) express interest in this role. Qualified actuaries of all ages are encouraged to volunteer as well as other industry professionals. It is relevant experience and an ability to contribute that is required.

On average, members are expected to attend one online meeting (approximately 2.5 hours) quarterly with some additional work on assigned actions in between.
