AI and data science – Sustainability and Climate Change Working Party – Chair

The ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ (IFoA) has a thriving AI and Data Science Community which supports several active and diverse, member-led working parties.  

The scope of the Sustainability and Climate Change Working Party is to:

  • Examine applications of data science techniques to address sustainability and climate-related problems
  • Produce related content, including in collaboration with other communities and practice boards
  • Participate in the events and present results of the working party’s functioning.

Time commitment

Meetings are generally held monthly via video conferencing. Meetings will be arranged at a mutually convenient time for all involved. There will be no requirement for volunteers to meet in one place.

There is an expectation that working party members will undertake research between meetings and prepare for meetings, with a time commitment of up to 3 days per month.
